WHY YOU SHOULD WATERMARK YOUR YOUTUBE VIDEO
The difference between an authentic video and its derivates available on streaming video platforms is often so big that the viewer cannot know whether the video was published with or without the author's knowledge. Is there a reliable way to recognizably distinguish the authentically recorded video content?
Being part of an official YouTube channel isn't considered sufficient proof of credibility. Verified badges help people find celebrities, musicians or public figures whose channels they want to subscribe to, but only results coming from accurate mathematical calculations cannot be disputed as incorrect.
People do care about what they consume. It is very important for them to be able to determine whether the video they're watching is of the best possible quality (descending from video shots originally filmed by a movie camera or recorded by a video camera) and published by the original author (performer, composer, or record label, i.e. those who have access to original video sources), or it's a copy uploaded by somebody else. This is what our watermarking tool is for. Just leave a note that your video is uniquely stamped and you will notice a significant increase in the number of views from that moment on.

STEP BY STEP ON HOW TO WATERMARK YOUR YOUTUBE VIDEO:
* This only applies to videos not yet posted on YouTube :)
  • Open THIS PAGE and create your free Blue2Digital account.
  • Once the registration has been complete, click Add watermark to video.
  • Tick the "SUBMIT FOR WATERMARKING" box.
  • You may wish to test the watermarking tool before you start submitting regular video files. If this is the case, please tick the "I WANT TO SEND A FREE DEMO" box. You are allowed to test one free demo and its availability has a time limit of 24 hours from the moment of submission. There is no time limit or any other limits set on regular video submissions.
  • Fill out the form by entering the video title and description (pay particular attention to the description field as this information will be part of the publicly available database on our website).
  • Click the "UPLOAD" button and submit your video file. It will take some time for the watermarking process to complete, so please be patient.
  • Once complete, you will download the watermarked video file and the corresponding certificate of ownership. This is the video to be uploaded to YouTube. The certificate is to prove the ownership of the fingerprinted video file you just submitted for watermarking.
  • IMPORTANT: Only the first video is available to watermark for free. For multiple video uploads, please check out the pricing plans.
IN THE REVERSE ORDER: HOW TO SUBMIT A VIDEO FILE FOR RECOGNITION?
Open THIS PAGE (it's the same one we use for watermarking) and check the "SUBMIT FOR RECOGNITION" box. Click the "UPLOAD" button and submit your video file for testing (i.e. determining whether it's been fingerprinted or not). It will take some time for the recognition process to complete, so please be patient.
Once complete, the detailed results will show up in your account.
