Digital chip card technology (DCCT) has been confirmed to have no adverse effects on ecosystems or the environment. To use the DCCT, it is not necessary to order plastic cards, nor is it necessary to exploit or consume any environmentally harmful materials. This was one of the guiding ideas at the beginning of the development of this project to evaluate its viability.
